- High sealing performance with the addition of a sealing coat (NuCOAT 3110I or NuCOAT 7110I)
- Very little shrinkage and no cracking after drying
- Easy to install, without formwork, in pellet form or via a mortar pump
- Economical solution
- Fire rating: up to 3 hours depending on configuration
- Airtight, watertight and decontaminable if a waterproof product is added, which is resistant to water pressure and back pressure up to 1.4 bar depending on the configuration
- A1 reaction to fire
- Qualification according to standard EN 1366-3
- EDF specification
- Density of finished product: between 0.9 and 1.9
- Minimum thickness: 200mm
- Additional sealing and decontamination requirement through the addition of a coating (NuCOAT 3110 or NuCOAT 7110)
- Installation of “recess wedges”, making it possible to pass small penetrations again at a later date
- Two implementation options :
- Manual, via a mortar pump
- In the form of a pellet
- Setting time: four to 6 hours
- Complete drying: 28 days
NuPLUG 1110 is a mortar used as a fire barrier in the sealing of penetrations, mainly in nuclear power plants or other nuclear sites.
This mortar can be used to seal electrical or mechanical penetrations and non-through-hole penetrations, in walls or slabs, with a medium level of through-hole saturation.
This mortar meets various requirements, such as fire separation. It can be completed with a waterproof or airproof coating.
